Steven Hippolyte
Born to an immigrant family, custom demanded he become a doctor, lawyer, or engineer. Steven, however, was not sold on the idea until high school. Raised in Brooklyn, New York, he always could tell who the bankers and lawyers were while riding the 2-train into the city. He idolized them, aspiring to one day join their ranks.
Steven attended State University of New York at Canton. After college he interned with the Kings County District Attorney’s Office then worked as a paralegal for the New York City Office of the Comptroller. He received his Juris Doctor from the Charleston School of Law in 2020. After taking the bar exam he immediately moved to Charlotte, longing for the city feeling but not as crowded as home. Prior to joining Brownlee Whitlow & Praet, Steven gained experience in real estate law as a creditor’s rights attorney.
When he is not working he is likely in California spending time with his twin brother and nephew who looks eerily similar to both of them. He also enjoys quiet time on hikes with his rescue Kira.
