Norman D. Praet
Norm is a servant leader, whether it is in his role as Managing Partner at BWP, or on one of the many rental housing industry association committees or boards that he sits on as general counsel, co-chair, or member. He understands that trust is the key to all relationships, both personal and business. He credits his success in the roles above with his ability to see what should/can come next and looking around corners to establish vision and direction, as well as continuous industry involvement. As Managing Partner, he enjoys work with the firm’s department and division heads on scaling and both firm and personal growth, as well as supporting industry associations at the local, state, and national levels to realize their goals. Norm also enjoys travelling and attending industry events around the country to stay abreast of diverse factors affecting the rental housing industry, to meet other industry professionals, and to represent BWP in the rooms where things are happening.
Norm limits his legal practice primarily to high level strategic and legislative solutions to the challenges faced by the rental housing industry.
When not working on or in BWP, Norm is often found acting as a chauffeur to his teenage daughter and son to their many sport and social commitments, as well as exercising, reading, golfing, boating, watching/listening to live music, and cooking.
