Kristen was born and raised in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. She attended North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Pre-Law with a minor in Philosophy in 2014. Kristen earned her Juris Doctor at North Carolina Central University School of Law in 2017. While in law school, she was a member of the Moot Court Board and a student advocate for the Juvenile and Trademark law clinics. Kristen joined BWP September 2021 and has experience representing property management companies, multifamily owners, and private housing providers with their landlord-tenant matters in and out of court.

In her spare time, Kristen enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
