About Us

Jan Myers was born in Raleigh, NC. After graduating from Garner Sr. High School, she started her career as the General Services Work Order Control Receptionist for the state of North Carolina before moving into the court system. Jan worked as a deputy clerk for over 28 years at the Wake County Clerk of the Superior Court. After retiring in February of 2011, she joined Brownlee Law as a legal assistant and has stayed with the firm, as it is now Brownlee Whitlow & Praet, PLLC.

In her free time, you can find her reading, shopping, but mostly hanging out with her grandchildren and her son, Larry. When the weather permits, she loves to take family trips to the beach to lay out in the sun, while her family fishes from their boat.
