F. Todd Whitlow
Todd is a Member of the firm. Since 2007, his practice has largely involved the representation of residential and commercial property owners and managers throughout North Carolina. Much of his focus has been on advising his clients in proper risk management, operations policies and procedures, fair housing compliance and defense work, real estate litigation, business litigation, commercial collections and contract review and drafting. In 2011, Todd extended his practice to South Carolina and in 2020 he became licensed to practice in Georgia where he continues representation of the firm’s multi-family clientele.
In addition to his multi-family practice, Todd leads the firms Community Association practice which includes representation of homeowners’ and condominium associations throughout the State of North Carolina in the areas of collection of assessments, enforcement and interpretation of restrictive covenants, proper meeting protocol, drafting of restrictive covenants and fair housing compliance and defense.
Todd was raised in Oxford, North Carolina and attended college at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill before attending Campbell University School of Law in Raleigh, North Carolina.
When not working Todd enjoys volunteering at Hayes Barton Baptist Church as a Youth Discipleship leader, traveling, playing and watching sports, occasionally playing the guitar, fitness, reading and spending time with his wife, two daughters and dog.
