Elizabeth Kuttler
Originating from Bronx New York, Liz moved to the Charlotte area in late 2021, bringing with her a rich and diverse background in law and a commitment to serving her clients. Her journey began in high school when she joined the Youth Trial Advocacy program at the Bronx District Attorney’s Office. This experience ignited her passion for the legal field, inspiring her to pursue her Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, which she achieved in 2013—all while gaining hands-on experience working alongside a sole practitioner.
Liz’s career continued to move forward as she moved into a leading role in the Landlord-Tenant Department at a respected mid-sized New York law firm. There, she managed complex cases with care and skill and worked closely with a local Village Judge on residential real estate transactions. This combination of experiences sparked a passion for multifamily law, an area she’s dedicated herself too ever since. Earlier in her career, she also gained valuable insights into bankruptcy law, further strengthening her ability to make sound and swift decisions.
Since joining Brownlee, Whitlow, and Praet in 2021, Liz has continued to build a reputation for herself through a client-centered approach. Outside the office Liz can often be found exploring the McDowell Nature Preserve with her daughter, husband and Husky, enjoying a bit of tranquility in her busy life.
