Daniel grew up in Creedmoor, North Carolina and attended North Carolina Wesleyan College in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, where he majored in History and played baseball. He furthered his education and received a Juris Doctorate from Campbell University School of Law in 2020.
After law school, he worked as an Assistant District Attorney in Vance County, North Carolina, where he had the opportunity to prosecute cases ranging from DWIs in District Court to felonies in Superior Court.
In his spare time, Daniel enjoys spending time with his wife Caroline, and their cat, Paddy. He loves to cook and is an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves and Carolina Panthers. Daniel and his wife are also very involved in their local church, Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Creedmoor, North Carolina.
